Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all the players, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make this years Annual John Hall & Associates MDA Golf Classic a success. On May 12, 2008, 124 golfers, 8 volunteers, and a number of sponsors gathered at Fire Rock Country Club in Fountain Hills, AZ to help raise money for the Arizona chapter of MDA.

Through this event we were able to raise $28,000 in funds to send children suffering from muscular dystrophy to summer camp, support groundbreaking research projects, and improve the quality of life for those suffering from neuromuscular diseases.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, MDA is able to provide a long list of services to more than 2,800 Arizonans affected by more than 43 different neuromuscular disorders. Their involvement in the event will enable MDA to continue to make progress through the new millennium.

John Hall & Associates has been supporting MDA through the golf tournament for many years and have been able to donate over $800,000.

Art and Sharon Sandell, associates from our Tempe office, organized the troops to help build a home for Habitat for Humanity.  Our designated day was this past Wednesday and 15 John Hall associates showed up to lend a helping hand.

SEVRAR and ARMLS are the two entities that are hosting the overall home build.  They have it organized so well that tools, gloves, lunch, and drinks were all supplied for the volunteers.  All we had to do was show up!  It was a fun day of installing roof trellises, assembling scaffolding, and framing the rooms and bathrooms.   

The house is not yet completed - they need more volunteers!  Whether you are an individual or a group, this is a wonderful way to help the community! 

Our golf commitee is hard at work planning for the John Hall & Associates Golf Classic for MDA.  This year we are playing at the exclusive FireRock Country Club in Fountain Hills.  We have room for 124 golfers.  Just in case you are interested in participating on May 12th here is an entry form. 

Of course in our attempt to raise lots of money for MDA we are asking for interested sponsors to step forward.  There are lots of different levels to choose from or you can also donate a gift to be given away as a prize.

We are proud to say that over the life of the tournament John Hall & Associates has been able to donate over $700,000!  Our goal this year is to add $45,000 to that.  See you there!
